Armadale

Armadale Castle, located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, was originally established in the late 18th century as a modest mansion by the MacDonald clan, one of Scotland's most influential clans. In 1815, the mansion was expanded into a grand castle under the direction of architect James Gillespie Graham, reflecting the romantic Gothic Revival style popular at the time. The castle served as the seat of the MacDonald clan, playing a central role in the social and political life of the region.
