Fowlis Castle

Fowlis Castle stands in the hamlet of Fowlis at roughly the midway point between Coupar Angus and Dundee in Angus. The exact date a castle was first built here is unclear, but the early to mid-1400s seem a safe bet. This once formidable castle has been much altered over the years and the curtain wall which surrounded the castle is no more.
